"If I had a black light, this place would look like a Jackson Pollock painting."
- Peter Quill / Star-Lord (Guardians of the Galaxy)
I made this for fun, but now I totally need to print it as a black light poster.
The ruby slippers were silver, like in the book, until MGM chief Louis B. Mayer realized that the Technicolor production would benefit from the slippers being colored red.

idk whose face i like best, sam’s “these are fuckin mine,” nat’s “i am gonna kill u,” or steve’s “oh shit oh shit these people are crazier than me”
tbh i don’t think elle did anything wrong by murdering that guy and i will stand by her til the day i die
It’s like people forget that Hotch actuallymurdered someone too (they were both unsubs I don’t care if the situation is different). Yet people seem to glorify Hotch into some sort of hero (cause he saved his son yay but lost his wife) and say Elle is a bitch?? I just don’t get it.
Elle ruined a careful operation before hand and instead of realising that she should step away from that situation; she allowed the guy to go free by ruining the set up and then, enraged that he was in fact set free, she tracked him down and killed him. Hotch killing Foyet was a murder of passion after months of stalking (meaning at one point he couldn’t see his son due to witness protection, which we all know did a horribly number on him); being horribly assaulted in his own home; Foyet directly targeting his family, killing Haley and probably would have killed Jack if he had the chance etc. The two aren’t really comparable.
I mean I think Elle should get some slack due to PTSD but it she should have gotten help, not allowed herself to get into such a state and then go out of her way to find a guy whom she must have known she was going to want to kill.
look, i’ve already talked with ninjabrians about why i dislike people saying she did nothing wrong, but you need to seriously take a step back and look at what you’re saying
and just in case you need some help wrapping your brain around how you’re holding elle to a completely different standard than hotch despite how their traumas are parallel, let me quote you something i recently wrote on regarding elle in general:
…the parallels between her & lee and hotch & foyet hit me even harder, every freaking time. elle is ptsd’ing hardcore and then gets put into a really dangerous situation that mirrors her own attack. on top of that, after her attack by the fisher king, gideon never takes responsibility for her almost dying, hotch doesn’t apologize for not being clear with anderson, and neither him nor hotch go “huh, maybe we should get some lady leo to do this instead of elle bc this is super fucked up”. then everyone wonders ~why in the world~ she would 1) “overreact” and blow her cover (triggered, triggered, she is so fucking triggered oh my god) and 2) shoot lee.
and then you’ve got hotch, so fucked up from his initial attack IN HIS OWN HOME JUST LIKE ELLE oh god (which he refuses to talk about) that he kind goes off the rails for the first few eps he’s back (basically until morgan is in charge, he’s kinda all over the charts), putting himself (and at times, victims) at risk. in 100, yes, his ex-wife is dead and he fears for his son’s life, but he kills foyet with his bare-freaking-hands after foyet said he’d stop (which, true or not, did not mean he needed to kill foyet, just knock him out and handcuff him). he’s quite clearly in ptsd mode with the way the scene is shot (all the flashbacks) and how he can’t stop himself. he literally has to be pulled away and held, sobbing like a small child, in order to stop.
neither has been shown to be proud of their actions, so any time ppl act like hotch is a righteous hero and elle is an evil bitch for the way that they reacted to their trauma, i direct them to this post or this post bc they explain it better than i ever could.
if nothing else, read those last two links because you are being seriously unfair to a victim of major trauma (shot in her own home, felt the unsub stick his fingers in her wound, died on the table) who survives only to put in the exact same situation, gets triggered as fuck, and then, knowing how desperate the situation was, felt like she had to make up for the mistake she made by killing the unsub before he could move on, disappear, and continue hurting women in ways extremely similar to the way she was hurt.
"I’ve always been a big fan of romance, and I think this story kind of captured the idea of meeting somebody and then an unexpected, unintentional night, unfolding in a really pure manner." (x)
